Paul Smith Extreme Sport

British Fashion designer Paul Smith launches a new fragrance for men, Extreme Sport. As the name inspires, Paul Smith Extreme Sport is a fresh, sporty and daily perfume for manly men. It is a fragrance that can characterize any type of character and will ideally suit for any season. Extreme Sport is the new flanker to 2002’s fragrance Extreme for men.

Paul Smith Extreme Sport is a fresh citrusy fragrance composed of exquisite notes. A vibrant and invigorating interpretation, this outdoorsy eau de toilette takes the best notes from its predecessor, including bergamot, Egyptian geranium, Tonka bean and incense. Extreme Sport then infuses the composition with new notes of grapefruit, and Moroccan mint for a energising kick off.

The start of the scent race then gets taken over to a spicy, floral heart of stimulating black pepper. As it nears the finish line, Extreme Sport completes the race with a dry down that’s full of staying power – a base built around the incense, cedar wood and Tonka bean, which give it a long-lasting sillage on the skin.

The perfume has a classical, masculine design. Taken its lead from the original, reworked in a blue lacquer to reflect it’s adventures, outdoors aesthetic. The feature of the iconic Paul Smith chronograph symbolising ‘a reminder in life, as in sport, [that] time is of the essence’.

To accompany the release of the new fragrance, Paul Smith has also commissioned photos of extreme sports stars in action, shot by photographer and filmmaker Sebastien Montaz-Rosset. The collection, shot in the French Alps, features three of Paul Smith’s favourite sportsmen in their element – extreme skier Vivian Bruchez, mountain biker Clément Iribanes and alpinist Fabien Meyer, taking the new fragrance back to its extreme sports roots.

Paul Smith Extreme Sport will be available as 50ml and  100ml Eau de Toilette.

Yakymour, home of Begum Om Habibeh Aga Khan, thè place in the mid 50's 'till the late 80's, where fashion, art, beauty and love meet each other, from all over the world.... Playing as a child in the garden of Yakymour was a happy, innocent time, thanx to ‘Grandma’ Yaky and to Sadruddin, where I could be fully myself and forget ‘the bad things’, and get some strenght. The Last 30 years working as cosmetologist and as a make-up artist for television, theatre, film, fotoshoots, fashion shows, celebrities and individuals gave me a trunk full of experience. My work brought me all over the world and had photoshoot's on location in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, India a.o. At this Blog you will find many reviews of cosmetics, fashion, art, and everything beautiful, as an ode to Begum Om Habibeh 'Yaky' Aga Khan, and named after the place where 'everything' was beautiful: Yakymour. You will find here all the in and outs about skincare, perfums, and make-up, the do's and don'ts, the why's and how's.... The stories behind, and some great interviews... So when you have any question.... please ask. Come on in.... feel yourself at home at Yakymour! Jean Amr P.S. My apologies for future grammatical errors. English is not my mother language :)
