Some designer fragrances are standards, but can fall out of favor. Our friends and fathers wore them and perhaps we did as well. In 1996 Azzaro Chrome was a favorite of many men. Azzaro has been the base of many flankers over the years, but Azzaro Chrome Acqua is the fragrance to own if you want to rediscover modern aquatics.

Waves crash against the rocks. An aromatic freshness fills the air, the breeze caresses the foam… The call of the sea leads Chrome Aqua to take the plunge.

The new chapter of the Chrome saga evokes the Mediterranean with a brand new aromatic freshness. Chrome Aqua is presented as a smoother version, a new vibration, such as one that’s reminiscent of a pure breeze mixed with sea foam. The scent is a citrus aromatic woody fragrance, created by perfumer Jean-Christophe Herault.

Azzaro Chrome Aqua reveals the legendary freshness of Chrome with a new interpretation that reflects lively aromatic notes and aquatic freshness through three main accords:

Dawn – grapefruit paired with green apple and violet leaf.
Zenith – essential oil of basil and spearmint enhances aromatic marine notes.
Dusk- woody texture of vetiver essential oil and cypress add a bold and masculine signature and strengthens the citrus character of the fragrance.

The iconic Chrome bottle with square shape and softened edges has been updated with the deep aqua tones, while the original chrome-plated cap has been re-imagined in a soft white finish.

Yakymour, home of Begum Om Habibeh Aga Khan, thè place in the mid 50's 'till the late 80's, where fashion, art, beauty and love meet each other, from all over the world.... Playing as a child in the garden of Yakymour was a happy, innocent time, thanx to ‘Grandma’ Yaky and to Sadruddin, where I could be fully myself and forget ‘the bad things’, and get some strenght. The Last 30 years working as cosmetologist and as a make-up artist for television, theatre, film, fotoshoots, fashion shows, celebrities and individuals gave me a trunk full of experience. My work brought me all over the world and had photoshoot's on location in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, India a.o. At this Blog you will find many reviews of cosmetics, fashion, art, and everything beautiful, as an ode to Begum Om Habibeh 'Yaky' Aga Khan, and named after the place where 'everything' was beautiful: Yakymour. You will find here all the in and outs about skincare, perfums, and make-up, the do's and don'ts, the why's and how's.... The stories behind, and some great interviews... So when you have any question.... please ask. Come on in.... feel yourself at home at Yakymour! Jean Amr P.S. My apologies for future grammatical errors. English is not my mother language :)
