Tom Ford Beau de Jour in a new flacon

Last year American designer Tom Ford launched Beau de Jour for his Private Blend Collection, wrapped in a brown glass flacon. Today the fragrance for the perfectly groomed gentleman will be available now in a new stylisch flacon.

The newest flacon is designed as a combination of several popular Tom Ford creations: the cylindrical shape of the flacon is the same as Ombre, Ombre Leather and methallique, while the glass is frosted with the iconic ribbed elegancy of the Tom Ford Signature line. The color of the liquid is light green.

A fresh, commanding entrance of Lavender from Provence introduces the clean and fervent facets of the Beau de Jour scent. The cool and refreshing opening is further amplified with an infusion of an energetic hybrid of lavenders. The core beats with the herbal inflection of African Rosemary and floral green Geranium with its subtle mint nuance, a powerful contrast to the leather-like warmth of Oakmoss and the electric green of Basil. Patchouli and Ambercreate an earthy foundation of radiant wood and sensual musky warmth, further elevating Beau de Jour’s refreshing notion of masculinity through the finish.

Beau de Jour can be considered as a re-introduction of old classic blends for customers who either don’t have any experience (due to their age) with the old classics and thus consider them cool and new, or those who miss the good old perfumes and smell their quotations in Tom Ford’s new creations.

Nothing, I mean nothing is dated here. A fresh modern homage that somehow feels new. This can be worn year around for any occasion and is signature worthy. Will be a classic in my book and is easily my favorite from Tom Ford. Really look forward to rocking this frequently!

With the launch of Beau de Jour for the Signature Collection, Tom Ford presents the advertising campaign for this fragrance with the English actor Joe Alwyn, well known for his roles in the award-winning film ‘The Favourite’ and in ‘Mary Queen of Scots’.

Tom Ford Beau de Jour will be available soon as a 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum at Tom Ford boutiques and selected stores worldwide. Come into the beautiful world of Tom Ford.

Yakymour, home of Begum Om Habibeh Aga Khan, thè place in the mid 50's 'till the late 80's, where fashion, art, beauty and love meet each other, from all over the world.... Playing as a child in the garden of Yakymour was a happy, innocent time, thanx to ‘Grandma’ Yaky and to Sadruddin, where I could be fully myself and forget ‘the bad things’, and get some strenght. The Last 30 years working as cosmetologist and as a make-up artist for television, theatre, film, fotoshoots, fashion shows, celebrities and individuals gave me a trunk full of experience. My work brought me all over the world and had photoshoot's on location in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, India a.o. At this Blog you will find many reviews of cosmetics, fashion, art, and everything beautiful, as an ode to Begum Om Habibeh 'Yaky' Aga Khan, and named after the place where 'everything' was beautiful: Yakymour. You will find here all the in and outs about skincare, perfums, and make-up, the do's and don'ts, the why's and how's.... The stories behind, and some great interviews... So when you have any question.... please ask. Come on in.... feel yourself at home at Yakymour! Jean Amr P.S. My apologies for future grammatical errors. English is not my mother language :)
