The Canadian brand Daymak tries to contribute to electric mobility with their electric bicycles, scooters and similar vehicles. However, this was not the origin of the idea. It started with a father’s search for a present for his daughter in 2001. However, the search for an electric scooter brought him to a dead end. So yes, then design and market something yourself, right?
After a difficult start with many import problems, this father was finally able to sell electric scooters from his shed. Just like the market for electric cars, the demand for these electric scooters grew fast! It happened so quickly that his garage became too small to keep up with sales. As one of the fastest growing Canadian brands, things were moving in the right direction. Many prizes won and vehicles sold later, the father owns the largest e-bike distribution center in Canada.

Available in three colours, the Spiritus is a full-featured two-seat coupe packed with features such as a rear view camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, AC, 12-speaker stereo system. There are solar panels for trickle charging, a regeneration system and Daymak’s own patented wireless charger, for a super-fast charging time of less than two hours. In addition, the Spiritus is equipped with a GPS alarm system.
The Daymak Spiritus is available in two versions: The Spiritus Ultimate and the Spiritus. The specifications of the Spiritus Ultimate are not disappointing… With 150 hp, 480 km range and a battery of up to 60 kWh, this tricycle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.8 seconds, making it the fastest 3-wheel car in the world. The Spiritus Deluxe version takes 6.9 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h and has a range of 300 km.
The Spiritus Deluxe is available from $19,995 USD (about 16,000 euros), and the Ultimate version is available from $149,000 USD (125,000 euros).
